    After arrival at the Katunayake International Airport. You will be transferred to Kandy en-route visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage. Check in at hotel and in the evening visit the Temple of the Tooth Relic and witness a traditional Kandyan dance cultural show. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, is one of Sri Lanka's most popular attractions. Situated halfway between Colombo and Kandy, the orphanage has a population of about 75 elephants, making it the world's largest collection of captive elephants. The elephants here range from new born calves to elderly matriarchs and include orphaned and abandoned elephants, as well as those injured in the wild. Experience the sheer delight of watching these great pachyderms frolic in the river at bath time or the baby elephants being fed twice a day.

    KANDY / NUWARA ELIYA

    (Approx.  80 km)

    After breakfast visit Peradeniya Botanical Gardens and Kandy city tour and Gem Museum famous Kandy markets. Transfer to Nuwara Eliya en-route visit Tea estate & tea factory to observe the production process of world famous Ceylon tea and Tea tasting and Ramboda waterfalls. Evening city tour and walk around Lake Gregory. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Peradeniya Botanical Gardens, Located 5.5 km to the west from the Kandy, Altitude is 460 meters above sea level. The garden covers 147 acres. The history goes back to 1371 and was formally established in 1843 by British after they took over the control in Kandy. More than 4000 species of plants found here including many varieties of orchids, Medicinal plants, palm trees and many rare species of trees.

    NUWARA ELIYA (STAY)

    After breakfast visit Seetha Amman Temple and visit Hakkgala Botanical Gardens. Evening city tour and walk around Lake Gregory & Victoria Park . Overnight stay in Hotel.

    Seetha Amman Temple, is located in the village of Seetha Eliya (also known as Sita Eliya). This place is believed to be the site where Sita was held captive by (Vikram) king Ravana, and where she prayed daily for Rama to come and rescue her in the Hindu epic Ramayana. On the rock face across the stream are circular depressions said to be the footprints of Rawana’s elephant.

    NUWARA ELIYA / BENTOTA

    (Approx. 210 km)

    After breakfast enjoy a boat ride through mangrove forests to a cinnamon plantation at Madu River and visit the Turtle Hatchery in Kosgoda where turtle eggs are collected, hatched, baby turtles nurtured, numbered and released to the sea. Overnight stay at beach resort Bentota.

    Madu River Boat Safari, 02 hours boat ride. A boat trip is a wonderful way of seeing some of the hundreds of species of plants and animals, monkeys eating fruit in the trees, a water monitor lizard glides slowly through the water, and cormorants, egrets and kingfishers wait patiently on the banks, eyeing the water for prey.

    The main occupations of the local inhabitants are producing cinnamon and prawn fishing if you take the trip in the evening you will see the fishermen in their canoes lighting lanterns to attract the shellfish into their traps.

    BENTOTA / COLOMBO

    (Approx. 70 km)

    After breakfast transfer to Colombo en-route sightseeing. Check in at hotel. Colombo city tour and shopping. Evening may be a visit to Galle Face Green and walk around the street food market. Overnight stay at hotel.

    Colombo, Drive through the city taking you to the busy commercial areas as well as the tree-lined residential, Cinnamon Gardens. Visit Fort, the former British administrative center and military garrison, Sea Street - the Goldsmith’s quarters in the heart of Pettah, the Bazaar area, where is also a Hindu Temple with elaborate stone carvings, and the Dutch Church of Wolfendhal dating back to 1749. The historic Dawatagaha Mosque and the former Eye Hospital are two buildings in Cinnamon Gardens worth looking at. Also visit the BMICH, see the replica of Aukana Buddha and the Independence Square.
